Company Description
Grey Matter Counseling & Consulting, located in downtown Bel Air, MD, provides mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.
The practice specializes in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, substance abuse, life transitions, work-related stress, grief & loss, and various other diagnoses. In addition to clinical counseling, the company also offers holistic wellness services, coaching, and consulting services. The team is led by owner José Rosado, LCPC, NCC, MBA, a mental health peer who served on the Harford County Mental Health & Addictions Advisory Council and is an Adjunct Professor at Towson University in the Psychology Department.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Mental Health Counselor. The counselor will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting mental health counseling, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The practice is primarily located in Bel Air, MD, but offers the flexibility to work from home.
Remote Practice Therapist
Must have valid Maryland license to practice
1099 Independent Contractor - fully self-employed
Minimum 20 billable hours per week (Full-time)/10 billable hours per week (Part-time)
Insurance credentialing included and optional
Set your own schedule
Compensation
Revenue share model
50/50 split for LGPC/LMSW (potential for 60%)
60/40 split for LCPC/LCSW-C (potential for 70%)
65/35 split for Clinical Supervisors
Signing bonus for every 5 clients brought over; $500/5, $1,000/10, $2,000/20
$500 annually for CEU’s of your choice
Qualifications
Expertise in developing and implementing treatment plans, mental health counseling, and psychology
Excellent communication and active listening skills
Clinical expertise in working with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, life transitions, work-related stress, grief & loss, and various other diagnoses
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
Licensure as a professional counselor, clinical social worker, or related mental health profession is required (LGPC/LCPC, LMSW/LCSW)
Must have current and up-to-date liability insurance and show proof of coverage
